Summary
The amie network has a strict privacy policy for the safety of its members. We carefully guard the personal and contact information of members. Because we cannot monitor all contact between members of the amie network, parents or guardians of members must assume responsibility for the safety of members in their charge. The leadership of the amie network cannot assume any liability.

- Only with the permission and signature of the parent or guardian of the requesting member.
- When the editor publishes a submission from a member in the amie newsletter and the member requests in

newsletter, which is distributed only to current members of the amie network.
- The amie network prints information in the amie profile column as disclosed by the featured member within
the amie profile interview sheet. Participation in the amie profile is completely optional and any information

The amie network accepts members and assigns penpals in good faith. The leadership of the network cannot
personally verify the identity and suitability of every member. The parents or guardians of each member must accept
responsibility for the safety of that member in any contact she has with other members of the amie network,
whether electronically, by mail, or in person. The amie network strongly encourages parents or guardians to
monitor all contact the member in their charge has with other members of the amie network.
