q & aWho is amie? This "amie" is not a who; it's a what. Our network is named "amie" (ah-mee'), because that is the French word for a female friend. Who is eligible for membership in the amie network? The amie network is designed for girls who are Christian, homeschooled, and between the ages of 12 and 19, though we have no age limits. If you or your daughter do not fit all of the preceding criteria, but feel that membership in the amie network would be beneficial, please join or contact the editor for more information. How long has the amie network existed? Bethany Notgrass founded the amie network in February of 2001. How can I get an amie penpal? Penpals are available to current members of the amie network. Members may contact the editor to request a penpal form. How can I be featured in the amie profile? If you are a current member of the amie network and would like to be featured in the amie profile column, just ask Bethany! What is the amie network privacy policy? Please read our privacy policy on this website. |
