This "amie" is not a who; it's a what. Our network is named "amie" (ah-mee'), because that is the French word for a female friend.

Who is eligible for membership in the amie network?

The amie network is designed for girls who are Christian, homeschooled, and between the ages of 12 and 19, though we have no age limits. If you or your daughter do not fit all of the preceding criteria, but feel that membership in the amie network would be beneficial, please join or contact the editor for more information.

Bethany Notgrass founded the amie network in February of 2001.
