Recollections of a Confederate Soldier CD

Recollections of a Confederate Soldier CD
Sam Watkins, from Maury County, Tennessee, was 21 years old when the War Between the States began in 1861. He marched and camped and fought with Company H of the First Tennessee Regiment from the beginning until the end of the war. In 1881-82, Sam's memoirs of the Civil War were printed in the Columbia Herald newspaper and then published as the book Co. Aytch. In this live audio recording, John Notgrass shares Sam's stories about that "little unpleasant misconception of there being such a thing as a north and south." All ages.
