When Choice Becomes God
F. LaGard Smith

With his legal and Biblical background, LaGard Smith takes a step back from the abortion debate to look at the comprehensive pro-choice disease that lies behind the glaring symptom of abortion. He examies the cultural trends that have created a society that not only sanctions the wanton destruction of unborn children, but accepts as normal divorce, sodomy, and other previously shunned activities. He then examines issues related to abortion and encourages acceptance of a strong pro-life position.

When highlighting the dangers of RU-486, Smith suggests that common birth control pills only prevent conception (p. 255). Other research indicates that this is not always true. Despite that objection and a few minor quibbles, this book is a helpful analysis for those of us who care about children and the future of our nation.
